I'm writing this note for a dear friend . Her name is Nameda [link]

All of the artwork here , was done by Nameda. I've used some to make Shaddai a little garden of his mommies flowers...

This past week has been extremely difficult
and painful for Nameda and her family,
with the loss of their beautiful burmese cat ,
Shaddai .

Anyone that has a pet realizes that they
are also a part of your life and your family .
The loss is just heartbreaking .

I know what they would really like , is to get a burmese kitten for their daughter , but , that would be impossible for them to pay for .

If by any chance you or anyone you know
happens to have one that you would like to
donate to this family , that would be such a blessing for them...

But , ,they would still love to have a canvas painting , in remembrance of their beloved Shaddai .

No matter what the outcome is with the kitten

But , the reason that I' want so badly to get donations is , they simply cannot afford to get the picture without our help .

I think that it would be an honor , to help in comforting Namedas family , {especially their daughter} by donating whatever we can to the

That would help them in getting that picture , and in easing their sorrow .

Namedas not only my friend , She is a great friend to everyone here at dA . She works tirelessly for the community .

Nameda is well respected for her kindness and generosity . She would help anyone .

I think that it's time we become the kind and generous ones . Please , whatever you can donate
to them would be wonderful .Honestly...... ANYTHING !

I added the rest of decorations to Namedas

Rest in peace little fighter. At age 8 today we had to put down Shaddai. The last week it was rapidly going downwards with him. And it was getting clear that he was loosing the fight this time Our whole family is crying the whole day and we are all so sad

He had only 34°C which is very low and was
apathetic the last 2 days and vomiting each day for the last 2 weeks.

When he was a kitten he poisoned himself, and nearly died from that. He managed to survive against all odds, but at a cost, he was never again back to the full temperament and health Burmese usually have.

He was special, he was very cuddly, attached to his family, loved to sleep under my pullover, or with us in bed under the blanket. He was a adorer of warmth and loved to sleep on the heaters or beside the kitchen stove, being so hot at times, you thought you could fry eggs on him.

He never went outside without us, but enjoyed visiting the garden with us when it was warm and sunny. He loved to sit on the balcony or in the tree on the board which reaches over to our balcony, but never went down. The balcony was freedom enough for him. You could do anything with him, as long as he was the centre of attention. He was immensely patient, and sweet tempered. With a HUGE voice for such a ttle cat Burmese are very vocal cats.

Even our vet said that he was the jewel, the sapphire amongst "her" cats. She said she never had seen such a special cat and even she cried when we had to give him the final injection. I had seen her before when she had to put down our 13 year old dog to free her from the suffering of her dying heart, and she was a little sad, so I know Shaddai touched more hearts than just the ones in our family.

For my kid I just wish I could afford to get a new Burmese kitten, but unless someone gifts me one that wont happen, as we don't have the money like back than. I can't even afford to buy a big canvas or big Art print of my fave photo of him the Pituresque cat or the jewel in the trees.









Poem For Cats

And God asked the feline spirit
Are you ready to come home?
Oh, yes, quite so, replied the precious soul
And, as a cat, you know I am most able
To decide anything for myself.

Are you coming then? asked God.
Soon, replied the whiskered angel
But I must come slowly
For my human family is troubled
For you see, they need me, quite certainly.
